Butterbrot

Overview
Butterbrot is a short, slice-of-life film I directed that explores the fractured relationship between an artist's son and his estranged father. When the son is expelled from school for vandalism, their separate worlds collide inside the father’s home—the film’s single location. As tensions rise, the father’s younger girlfriend becomes an unexpected mediator between two stubborn men, forcing both to confront unresolved conflict, legacy, and identity.
